It is evident that the piano was cared for in past years and at some time refurbished. It was obvious that the soundboard is original and whoever refurbished piano took time to repair any cracks. Piano has been well cared for and regularly tuned since. Bench: there is a matching bench with the piano in same as centennial legs of which also good condition.
Very good condition 1883 Steinway Sons model. Full appraisal available upon request, but highlights are: exterior: the piano was in very good condition considering its 139 years. The piano exterior was in very good shape except for the lid had a stain fading issue which is not unusual with wood pianos of any make. Interior: the inside belly of the piano was in very good shape.
